Leave me

Leave me to my sadness

My loss

Let me mourn

The empty space beside me

An acorn without an oak tree

A drop of water with no source

I fill the space with feelings of

Learn better to use nothing for me

Then one day I see no one misses me

I am suddenly nothing

Nothing born of nothing

Nothing mourning nothing

Hurting for nothing

Feeling for nothing

Crying for nothing

I ask nothing of anyone

But I get nothing too often

Consumed by nothing

In my heart a space not empty

Of love but limiting

Fading down to the depths of nothing.
